What are the common side effects?

Side effects can happen when you start a new medication or when your dose changes. Your experience may be different from someone else’s.

Some people may have:

• Nausea

• Constipation or diarrhea

• Burping, reflux, or indigestion

• Stomach discomfort or cramping

• Vomiting

• Tiredness

• Headache

• Dizziness

• Soreness or a small bump at the injection site

• Eat smaller meals and stop when you feel full.

• Drink fluids regularly.

• Follow the instructions that came with your prescription.

• Message your Care Team through the TrimRx portal if side effects are not improving, are getting worse, or are affecting your daily activities.

Message your Care Team through the TrimRx portal if you:

• Are having ongoing nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation

• Cannot keep fluids down

• Feel dizzy, weak, or dehydrated

• Have questions about side effects, your medication, or your dose

• Are not sure whether to take your next dose

Seek emergency care or call 911 if you have trouble breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, severe chest pain, or think you may be having a medical emergency.
