How do I update my payment method?

How to add or change a card and update your order

There are two steps, and doing only the first one is the most common mistake.

Step 1: add your card

Go to Payment Methods in your portal menu to add a new card or remove an old one.

Step 2: tell your plan to use it

This is the part people miss.

  1. Go to My plans

  2. Open your plan

  3. Find Payment Method

  4. Under Use this card for this plan, click the drop down and select your card

  5. Click Update

Adding a card doesn't automatically switch an existing plan to it. If you're replacing an expired card, do step 2 as well, otherwise your renewal still tries the old card and fails.

If you have more than one plan, do this for each one. Each plan has its own payment method.

What we accept

All major credit cards. Financing options are also available through Affirm and Klarna at checkout.

When to update it

Update your card before your next billing date if:

  • It's expiring or has expired

  • You've been issued a new card or number

  • Your bank replaced it after fraud

  • You want to pay with a different card

You'll find your next billing date on your Home dashboard and under My plans.

If your card fails, your order doesn't go through, and with these medications, a gap in treatment matters. See [What happens if I miss a dose?]

If a payment has already failed

Update your payment method in your portal and message us. We’ll be sure there is no further delay in your order.

Checking what you've been charged

Order history shows your past orders and charges. Your plan page shows your next billing date and amount.

If something doesn't look right, message us with your order number rather than disputing it with your bank. We can almost always sort it out faster without holding up your funds, and it saves you a much longer process.

Your card details are secure

Payments are handled by a secure payment processor and we don’t store your full credit card number.
